Both wrong.
The Captain for leaking operational readiness details outside the chain of command.
The Secretary for not simply dismissing him but feeling compelled to fly 8000 miles to his ship to deliver that diatribe.
“Both wrong.”
The good news is, got rid of two idiots with one incident.
Bingo. The Navy requires leaders, not charlatans. Buh, bye.
I don’t think the captain leaked the information rather his email was leaked by someone else.
“Both wrong.”
Agreed.
Quite so. As a rule, adverse personnel actions should almost always be handled with restraint and consideration for those involved.
Both wrong.

BINGO! You dont counteract STUPID with STUPID.
Yea but someone leaked that diatribe. Also a problem and bad form. Not a good show for the Navy all around
Close.
Every officer knows that badmouthing another officer in front of the troops is an unforgivable misstep. Leadership of the worst kind. SECNAV of all people should have known that.
“”The Secretary for not simply dismissing him but feeling compelled to fly 8000 miles to his ship to deliver that diatribe.””
Where did he have to fly to cover the 8000 miles - from where to where? I really don’t know - not a smart remark!! I thought he would have been in DC and I thought the ship was on the West Coast - must not be!
