Pure drivel. If you believe NASA did not land on the Moon, and that the NSA imploded the World Trade Center, this article is for you.
BTW, does zinc interrupt the virus replication in the cell? Then the HCQ does aid in reducing the viral load. But of course that is not why YOU would use it.
Not fully understood is an understatement. There are many other red flags in the report. As I said it may be part of the answer but it is not the unified field theory
First time I’ve seen it, and I’m here a lot
Fair enough, thanks.
The pushback from the Left on the HCQ thing is just unreal out there.
Apparently your reading comprehension is on par with a first grader. “You see, malaria is this little PARASITE that enters the red blood cells and starts eating hemoglobin as its food source. “
Uncalled for! If you were treating patients to the point of exhaustion you might miss a word or two. Shameful you were.
Are you personally seeing a benefit using hydroxycholoroquine? I keep reading conflicting reports, from many sources.
Just thought I’d hit the “Like Button” for your post.
There are other sources of similar effects re hemoglobin. It is fully known that inadequate O2 saturation is one of the key symptoms of Covid-19, leading to MODS, and death.

Ping!
Here’s the article/info that GW had posted on the CV thread, a few nights ago, as it’s own thread.
This article has a serious lack of sources. Who sez? Where’s the proof?
Haven’t seen this article before. Anyone else not seen it?
You obviously do not follow the posts but for your highness’ happiness...The reason that we are using HCQ is because it modulates the autoimmune reaction that causes shock (some people call it cytokine storm...its a misnomer). It acts as a relative anti-inflammatory on the immune level which causes loss of progression to the critical phase, and rescues in the critical phase. We are not treating the virus per se as much as the ramped up autoimmune function. The fact that there is some virocidal activity is NOT the principle issue. Azithromycin likewise has mild virocidal activity but also acts as an anti-inflammatory and works against the SIRS response.
This is the science — I can’t help it if you want to promote all the rest.
Excellent article on Covids mechanism
I have seen extremely impressive results with HCQ, I am seeing lack of progression to critical illness in the people whom I start it early (PUI who become (+)) and I am seeing it turn around people on the vent. Yes, I think its the real deal. I also advocate that physicians and RNs and all health care personnel working in CoVID units should be prophylaxing with Hydroxycholoroquine as per the royal college of India and UK protocols.
If you are seeing conflicting reports, ask this question — why is every nation striving to preserve and expand their supply?
>>This article has a serious lack of sources.<<
I agree. No sources whatsoever, which makes it hard to take seriously, not that I would understand it anyway. But when he makes claims about what has been learned by others, he should reference them somehow.
And MomMD, the author states that malaria is a parasite. The “bacteria” claim is from the quote he fabricated about what the uninformed (press?) tend to be saying.
Thanks for the feedback. Two questions:
1) Using Z-Pack and/or zinc with it?
2) How many patients have you seen turned around with it and what is the typical type of response in terms of timing? (Okay, that’s three questions.)
That doctor that NBC interviewed who was citing his successful use of HCQ and zinc was never asked by the interviewer how many patients he was talking about. It could have been five or fifty. We just don’t turn out journalists anymore; they’re all political animals now.
The author is the son of an MD who co-wrote it with his father. http://www.smalldeadanimals.com/index.php/2020/04/05/wuhan-flu-21/
But there are an increasing number of MDs over the last couple of days who are coming to similar conclusions; there is one New York Dr. (IIRC; might be Italian) who came out saying, "we're treating this all wrong, it's more like altitude sickness" which is consistent with these claims.
According to the website smalldeadanimals, the author is the son of an MD who consulted on it /wrote it in conjunction with/ or something, his father. http://www.smalldeadanimals.com/index.php/2020/04/05/wuhan-flu-21/
