Tucker Carlson: There has to be a more balanced course on coronavirus than the one we're on now
Fox News ^ | 4/7/20 | Tucker Carlson

So if you've been sick, you know that intensive care is not something that doctors recommend lightly. Boris Johnson is clearly in danger, and that's a bad sign.

Johnson is in his mid-50s and hale enough to lead a country. If coronavirus can happen to him, a lot of us should be worried. And we are worried -- worried enough to endure things that just a month ago would have seemed preposterous.

Last week, Dr. Michael Ryan, a leader at the World Health Organization, announced that in response to the spread of this virus, authorities may have to enter people's homes and remove family members, presumably by force.

Dr. Michael Ryan, executive director of the WHO Health Emergencies Programme:

In most parts of the world, due to lockdown, most of the transmission that's actually happening in many countries now is happening in the household at family level.

In some senses, transmission has been taken off the streets and pushed back into family units.

Now, we need to go and look in families to find those people who may be sick and remove them and isolate them in a safe and dignified manner.

Just so you know, we're coming to your house, seizing your children and "isolating" them in a safe and dignified manner, whatever that means.

The day is coming for us to crash the White House switchboard to tell Trump this MUST END NOW!

I may also organize a non-social distanced mass protest of people wearing masks which read “F*** You Dr. Tony!”

The late night “comic” a-holes are having a huge benefit for the WHO. It has become the well known the WHO are allies of the ChiComs but here are these traitors about to send them God knows how much money.

The problem is - we are flying completely blind, especially 2 months ago.

We didn’t have tests, we didn’t have good ideas of how it spread, we weren’t sure of exactly what people were affected the least, and the worst. The disease originated in China, so while they offered some useful facts, they also covered up a lot. It all supported fear and worst-case thinking.

Finally, for politicians, China’s was the only response they saw, so they simply copied it. That is called ‘recency bias.’ A very big mistake.

The President Trump hating left are screaming ‘The drug HCQ hasn’t been tested, hasn’t been approved” etc ignores the fact that Tetanus hasn’t ever been clinically trialed before they began using it either- yet millions of folks have been saved by it-

Many on the left are just plain scum- they would rather folks die than use the weapons we have right now to try to stop this terrible virus in it’s path- over 1000 deaths already in NY this morning due to the virus- and it’s not even over yet- and cuomi is still insisting that only people in hospitals can get it- when it’s being proven that given early, there is no need for folks to go to hospitals=- and it works better-

withholding HCQ to EVERYONE who is sick regardless of severity, and regardless of where they are, is so immoral, irresponsible, and such a dereliction of duty that it aint even funny-

Impatience could end up as an In Patient. I did a lot of comprehensive NBC training in the military... bottom line is that the individual MUST be methodical in disinfecting, dressing-undressing, sanitation/decontamination, etc...

If you want to cut corners, save it for noncritical tasks such as shoe shining.

Frankly, as much as I enjoy Tucker occasionally, this is irresponsible bantering to the conspiratorial crowd about something he is not at all familiar with.

Which is another reason I am in agreement with conscription. Not only are you trained how to make your bunk and fold your boxers, but you become aware, and are pressed fully on procedural conduct during life threatening evolutions repeatedly during your entire time in the service.

I do wonder at what point there will be mass resistance to these governors drunk on power who have no regard whatsoever for the damage they're doing. It would be cool for someone to organize a "reopening day" on which all businesses agree to reopen regardless of whatever governmental edict is in place. There would be little the tin pot dictators could do to stop it.

I would say that “all” on the left are scum. Every damn one of them. There are no good ones. You’re kidding yourself if you think so.

Peoples’ reaction to the arguments that Carlson is making tell you a lot about the divide between the wealth liberal elite and blue collar workers living from paycheck to paycheck. The wealthy liberal elite really isn’t experiencing too much pain yet. Their companies are still paying them. Many can work from home. Many have enough savings to get them through a month or two. They have a lot of entertainment at home and the means to connect remotely with others. So they can get up on their high horses about “human life vs. money” and “one death is too many.” Once they run out of money and wonder how they are going to put food on the table, all the sudden it will be time to reopen the economy even if a couple million people die.

Surreal world we live in.
Surreal USA. Government ordering We-The-People.

It is starting to look like agents domestic, e.g., governors and law enforcement may be usurping law, in many cases. And overstepping proper activities at least. Unless there is written law to actually enable such government actions, within each jurisdiction, it is unlawful and anyone enforcing it is violating the constitutional rights of We-The-People within those jurisdictions.

The experts who pushed possible extreme models and those who grabbed power based upon it are the problem. A problem to the well being of the republic of USA and We-The-People who authorize said government.

The NAZIs knew how to come into your home and take your disabled children and adult family members... Look up the Gray Buses and Crematorium.

The Gemeinnützige Krankentransport GmbH About this soundlisten (help·info) (known as “Gekrat” or “GeKraT”, commonly translated as “Charitable Ambulance”) was a National Socialist subdivision of the Action T4 organization. The euphemistically named company transported sick and disabled people to the Nazi killing centers to be murdered under the Nazi eugenics program and was known for the gray buses it used.

They would send the family a letter saying We are sorry to report your loved one died of appendicitis, etc. Even if the person had already had an appendectomy.
