The Wisconsin State Supreme Court on Monday overturned Gov. Tony Evers' (D) executive order postponing Tuesday's primary election until June 9th amid concerns over the spread of the Wuhan coronavirus. The Court ruled 4-2 against Evers, saying Tuesday's primary election most move forward, including in-person voting.
The motion was brought about by Republican lawmakers.
"The states highest court has spoken: the governor cant unilaterally move the date of the election," Assembly Speaker Robin Vos (R-Rochester) and Senate Majority Leader Scott Fitzgerald (R-Juneau) said in a joint statement. "We are proud that Wisconsinites have come together to meet the challenges that this pandemic has created. The safety and health of our citizens have always been our highest concern; thats why we advocated for everyone to vote absentee. Wisconsin has responded in droves. Over a million ballots have been requested for tomorrows election. We continue to believe that citizens should be able to exercise their right to vote at the polls on Election Day, should they choose to do so."

Yep - they had weeks to plan and opted to wait until the 11th hour to try to take the “let’s steal an election” route...
Correct.
Because VOETR FRAUD, BALLOT TAMPERING/HARVESTING and MANIPULATION od the polls is the ONLY way that Commies (aka democRATs) can “win” elections.
Damn them all to Hell.
We live in WI and both court decisions were good moves. The Democrats wanted to cheat on the election to defeat the reelection of WI Supreme Court Kelly who is a constitutional conservative. Our WI court has a slim conservative majority as does the US Supreme Court. Lose that and the Democrats run the state/USA.
I just voted. The polls are open, with plexiglass window barriers. A policeman was at the door to ask if I have covid19 symptoms. Not many people voting were there. The workers all had masks.
Good to see a court finally step in and smack down one of these tyrant governors for a Constitutional reason. Up to now it seems the courts have only stepped in when a governor has dared to close down an abortion mill.
Wow, that was quick decision by the SCOTUS to uphold the Wisconsin Supreme Court.
Of course, it was 5-4.
