White House trade adviser Peter Navarro had a heated exchange with CNN anchor John Berman on Monday after Navarro argued that his training in statistical studies as an economist made him qualified to disagree with health experts on the use of the anti-malaria drug hydroxychloroquine to treat the novel coronavirus.
"Doctors disagree about things all the time. My qualifications in terms of looking at the science is that I'm a social scientist," Navarro told "New Day" anchor Berman. "I have a Ph.D. And I understand how to read statistical studies, whether it's in medicine, the law, economics or whatever."
Toward the end of his interview, Berman said "we all want the same thing, which is people to get better."
"I'm not sure we do sometimes," Navarro replied.

Why bother going on that network. Let them sink
And how is a talking head from a propaganda outlet qualified to question the efficacy of hydroxychloroquine?
Im not sure either.
I am withholding judgement until I hear from Greta Thunberg.
Civilization would be much better if many on the Left were to die or just disappear. I am not at all sure that Berman wants people collectively to get better.
“The winner and still undefeated champion, from Cambridge, Massachusetts, Peter Navarro!”
CNN = Certainly Not News
Good for Navarro. I have not been impressed with the medical communities use of statistics and models wrt COVID19, or their attitude that those in other fields cant disagree with their numbers or methodology. I dont care who you are or what field you are in, your 'science' needs to stand up to peer review.

Navarro is exactly the kind of person we need on MSM shows.
Navarro is a PhD in economics from Harvard. Thats math and statistics, baby
Why should we listen to you and not Dr. Fauci?
You're not LISTENING to Dr. Fauci! You're pretending he's negative on HCQ and he is NOT.
Dr. Fauci is noting that we're short of a multi-year, double blind study, and I'm saying that isn't necessary based on the evidence we have.
Peter Navarro education:Tufts University (BA)
Harvard University (MPA, PhD)
John Berman education: Harvard University (BA)
I’ll go with Peter...
Plus he is/was a Democrat!!
Post of the day, lol!
Berman is a lightweight as is CNN.
Personally, I'm waiting for Cher to weigh in ...

Agreed. CNN is openly, aggressively anti-Trump. Engaging with them is a fool’s errand.
Don't forget Whoopi.
I know damn well he doesn't. The lefties see this monster wrecking the economy -- DJT's strongest argument for reelection -- and they would like to delay the economic recovery as long as possible. They can lie if they want (and they DO!) saying they want people to get better. But their lines of questioning ALWAYS show how much they hope the interventions, the mitigations, the cures, will not work. They want to stanch any and all rays of hope or good news. The bastards.
