No, I didn’t miss it.
I was clarifying our situation here.
I have my own views on exactly what happened in the Pell case, which are pretty specific to that case.
But I won’t go into those at this point.
But I do believe years of prejudice made it impossible to Pell to get a fair trial by jury in Australia, and unfortunately in Victoria (unlike most of Australia) Judge Only trials are not allowed.

George Pell has had his conviction overturned by the High Court.
it certainly a victory whenever the elite High Court over-rules the hoi polloi.
