The chair of Wisconsin's state Democratic Party on Monday blasted a U.S. Supreme Court decision that required all absentee ballots be posted by Tuesday to be counted in the state's election.
Ben Wikler tweeted Monday afternoon that he was "about to explode" after the Supreme Court reversed a lower court's ruling ordering the state to accept absentee ballots sent any time before April 13, a move that was initially meant to expand participation in the primary during the coronavirus outbreak.
"I am about to explode. The five GOP US Supreme Court justices just overruled two lower courts and shut off extended absentee voting in Wisconsin," he tweeted.
"The Supreme Court of the United States legislated from the bench today, following Trump team's orders and writing a new election law to disenfranchise untold thousands of Wisconsin voters and consign an unknown number of Wisconsinites to their deaths," he added. "This is now etched into history. Donald Trump doesn't care how many of his followers dieand how many people they infect and killif it helps him maintain power."

If the Democrats scream in pain at a court decision regarding elections, The Constitution is being preserved. If Democrats are joyous at a court decision, The Constitution is being eroded."
Pretty simple.
Always right.
Ah Ah Ah.....there’s no such thing as GOP Justices or Democrat Justices. Remember?
ben winkler needs a Xanax and a clue, stat.
This phrase has got to be eligible for a masterful combination of lies, overstatements, and misdirection!
Just consider there will be "untold thousands" and "an unknown number" which are either disenfranchised or downright DEAD!
What a bunch of drama queens!!
dramatic little thing, aint he?
“about to explode”

Gotta yell Allahu Akbar first so we know it has nothing to do with Islam.
good call. wisconsin has long been a hotbed of election shenanigans; state/local courts have long been the enablers for election shenanigans.
Thank God. The lower court was going to let the rats harvest ballots 6 days AFTER the election. They would know exactly how many votes they would have to “find”. Did the The Hill even mention that part? On the face this ruling does not favor either party. The fact that this rat is so upset tell you the SC has ruined the plan. This is just the beginning the rats are going to use this virus to try cheat in November
to a degree we cannot even imagine. The people hold the rats in contempt now and they can feel it.
yup, bet your house on it.
they are bolsheviks.
remember how they abused the language. their very name.
I’m from pretty near there.
I get the definite impression from that photo he is ...
Well ...
Let’s just say. A bit too carefully coifed.
‘I am about to explode’
Kind of like the Martians when they heard Grandma’s music?
I’m glad that they’re not going to allow ballot harvesting, or letting absentee voting go on until the 13th. I think it would have been better to postpone the election a couple months though.
For people who want to understand why the Dems are so angry, it goes like this:
1) The Democrats know who ‘their voters’ are.
2) Prior to election day, those who voted are NOT identified
3) But on election day, the people who voted become public information
4) Knowing who voted allows the Democrats to key-in on those who didn’t vote (or didn’t utilize all of their registrations)
5) Therefore, not so easy to harvest votes with this ruling.
Sounds like good news!
Many municipal elections on the ballot, and their terms end on April 20.
Amen. Think of the dems demise, here. State AND US Supreme Court BOTH knocked them back on their heels. They are sad. Plan didn't work. Now thank PDJT and the Turtle for getting the constitutional judges approved.
I've already gotten another phone call tonight, to encourage us to vote Kelly for Supreme Court tomorrow.
Already voted last week.
I didn’t think about that - the local elections. The ballot harvesting was just outrageous anyway. That would have lead to massive vote fraud. I just don’t think there’s going to be a lot of voter turn out tomorrow across the state.
Good.
Go out in the middle of a field somewhere so you dont leave too much of a mess for someone else to clean up.
