Grocery Workers Are Beginning To Die Of Coronavirus

Major supermarket chains are beginning to report their first coronavirus-related employee deaths, leading to store closures and increasing anxiety among grocery workers as the pandemic intensifies across the country.

A Trader Joe’s worker in Scarsdale, N.Y., a greeter at a Giant store in Largo, Md., and two Walmart employees from the same Chicago-area store have died of covid-19, the disease the novel coronavirus causes, in recent days, the companies confirmed Monday.

Though more than 40 states have ordered nonessential businesses to close and told residents to stay home to stem the spread of the virus, supermarkets are among the retailers that remain open.

Industry experts say the rise of worker infections and deaths will likely have a ripple effect on grocers’ ability to retain and add new workers at a time when they’re looking to rapidly hire thousands of temporary employees.

Walmart, the nation’s largest grocer, is hiring 150,000 workers, while Kroger is adding more than 10,000.

Pretty clear to me that at this point they just want to shut it down to force an all by mail election.

Combine that with Pelosi's millions included in the stimulus for the Postal Service ...

So you are worried about perceptions rather than facts? Not much to discuss with you then.

What FluBro has said masks don’t work? Or is that a perception?

Employers need to be sued for not providing masks.

Jeff Besos and Amazon own: Amazon, Whole Foods, and WaPo.

Then article features a Wal-Mart photo and identifies grocers such as Trader Joes, but no mention of Whole Foods.

Have you ever noticed the media’s first and only goal is to stop Trump from being reelected?

“What FluBro has said masks don’t work? Or is that a perception?”

Starts with the WHO, then CDC.

It started with Deborah telling people to avoid the grocery stores.

My first thought as well. Figured I'd read through the thread to see if anyone else made that connection. It was probably the signal to start the next wave of propaganda.

The mortality rate will probably increase quite a bit in time, when the remainder of the cases are resolved.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2019%E2%80%9320_coronavirus_pandemic#Epidemiology

Cases 367,461

Deaths 10,910

Recovered 19,522

As a deep state operative, she’s participating in the agenda to crash the economy starting with grocery stores.

Grocery stores, the source of essential supplies for all Americans.

"So, at a minimum, if my kids worked there, I’d have them QUIT, at least until the FluBros in our government started being HONEST...which is just starting, finally."

It would probably be legally better for them, if they wear protective equipment and get fired for it.

"For example, the FluBros tell them they don’t need masks, because they don’t work...except the SAME FluBros say that masks work great for medical workers."

True.

Walmart in our area is now restricting how many people can be in the store. They’ve shut all the entrances but one, have a rope line. People at the head of the line with tablets monitor the number in the store.
