Ahh, but isn't this the standard move from marxists during “social upheaval”? Haven't we seen this before? Is there a reason to push for riots and mayhem?

Conspiracy theory my ass. It seems pretty obvious, IMO.

The Walmart stores were posting gloves throughout the sales floors weeks ago. Back then and in one store, a store manager told employees that they could wear masks, if they wanted to. Soon afterwards, assistant managers told them not to even wear gloves, because they would panic customers.

That’s what goes on behind the ostensible company policies and behind the scenes.

Nonsense. Pay attention to the difference between real stories and fake news!

Have you even been in a Walmart and notice the age of people who work there?

There are already many more casualties than that, and there will be many more. Some of the real numbers will come out in the class action suits. Employees and families of employees won’t be satisfied with the little offers that come before then.

Our society will change more than expected as a result of the epidemic. Most people are nowhere close to knowing what’s really happening, because politicians and other bosses don’t want a panic...or the changes to come.

President Trump had better rein in Fauci and Birx! They are setting another round of panic narratives to the Fake News! After Trump leaves these pressers, these two POS undermine everything Trump had previously said!

President Trump, Fauci and Birx are not helping you or the nation! They are causing panic and more hysteria! Get them away from microphones and cameras!

A window to the truth here, from a retired epidemiologist. Notice particularly, “with so many still sick...increase.” Understatement. You’ll see.

The Chinese government lied about more than one thing.

Or they could cut eye holes in those reusable shopping bags, which nobody is supposed to use anymore, and wear it on their heads.

Trump pills and Trump checks on FR. I think I have died of Wuhan China virus and gone to hell. Hope people are joking. Need a pill go to the damn Dr. need $ go to the damn bank. Can’t do either then time to evaluate your life about what you need to do differently. Success is not all that difficult once you realize half the people are below average IQ and below average in industriousness and below average in dedication. No way anyone has to below in 2/3 of those.

Appalling, the many Kool-Aid drinkers pushing snake oils. Folks young and old, the snake oils won’t help you, if you get COVID-19.

What if people started wearing Guy Fawkes masks instead?

You had better hope the economy doesn’t crash over this bull sh*t! You’ll learn what mass deaths are all about when we’ve lost everything. But I’m wasting my breath with you. I’m sure you are in favor of the entire nation shutting down indefinitely over this much hyped big.

It must really bother you that the early predicted number of deaths from this bug just aren’t coming to fruition! Interesting what bothers some people.

"Up until about a week or so ago, corporate suits were forbidding grocery employees in my area from wearing masks & gloves - didn’t want to scare customers."

Same here. Those corporate suits are invincible, don't ya know, even against the legal, political and economy scythe just around the corner. It's time for a new economy, an economy based on far more distributed production on U.S. soil.

Given that more than 10,000 people have died so far from it, some of them are bound to be grocery store employees. Before this pandemic, Walmart and Kroger employed 2m people in total. I’d expect a dozen or more casualties from these companies.

Also, considering that they are one of the few businesses still allowed by the Reich to be open, you're going to see people in that business coming down with stuff. This is just another example of the bedwetters getting their panties in a twist over nothing.

Poor guy! It must really grieve you that we’re nowhere near the early death predictions that these worthless models assured us we’d see by now! It must also bother you about the success many physicians around the world are having with these drugs which are saving lives.

Go pedal your fear and hysteria somewhere else! You are one sick fu*k!

Actually, I don’t have a problem going to Walmart. The concern should be how the people working there perceive their safety - rightly or wrongly.

For example, the FluBros tell them they don’t need masks, because they don’t work...except the SAME FluBros say that masks work great for medical workers.

So, at a minimum, if my kids worked there, I’d have them QUIT, at least until the FluBros in our government started being HONEST...which is just starting, finally.

Typical Washington Post fear mongering. A tiny number of workers get sick — 3 — nationwide out of hundreds of thousands of workers (and who knows where they got sick) and all of the sudden, it’s a grocery worker zombie apocalypse.

The media is near criminal in their hyperbolic spinning of bogus yarns.

“So far this year over 24,000 have died from influenza.”

Seasonal influenza typically has a 13 week run and a 0.1% mortality rate. Coronavirus produced its first American death on February 29th so we are in week 7 and thus far there is a 2.96% mortality rate as of yesterday (10,871 deaths out of 367,004 cases).
