You may be right, but I still think it goes without saying that many of the crooks and queers at the Vatican were very happy to see him go.
Oh yes - the man - from my knowledge of him - is as close to incorruptible as any man I have ever heard of. Nobody would have wanted to be trying to hide crimes from him.
The good news is they will meet the same God we meet when the times comes.
And even with my laundry list of sins, I’d rather face The Lord with mine than with theirs.
