Good. She needs to get tossed.
Georgians do not like insider trading apparently.
Republicans will pick up the Alabama seat and almost certainly lose the Colorado seat. I see the numbers staying even, which will be a win for the republicans.
Also, the Chinese flu completely changes everything. The November election will be about nothing other than the flu. Anything Trump did before is completely worthless from an electoral point of view.
We will be going to the polls in a strong recession or even a depression. The government and everyone else is forecasting a second quarter GDP loss of -30% or more...some are forecasting a loss of up to -35%. The biggest loss during the 1930s depression was -12.4%, so as we have read, Trump's campaign is completely redoing the campaign at the moment. This is uncharted territory and everything we think we know about politics will be rewritten in November. It's going to be a very volatile environment to hold an election.
1 rat and 2 R running against each other. With all the BS the rats are going to be pulling we could lose this seat.

Actually, running ALL ON THE SAME BALLOT, there are TWO name Republicans, TWO name DemocRATS, abundant more minor Republicans & DemocRATS, ONE Losertarian and SUNDRY Independent candidates. From this bowl of mixed candidates, the top two (regardless of party) candidates will then later run against each other since there is no way any candidate gets a majority in that JUNGLE ballot special election on November 3rd.
The truth hopefully buries the rino.
Ok thanks for clearing that up. It sounds a little crazy
Just look at her picture that woman is no Senator and she would surely lose to a Democrat with out a GOP alternative. What on earth was Kemp thinking?
Hey - I live in GA and if you get an answer to your question, let me know. I’ve talked to the Election board and got a gal who laughed and said she didn’t even know.
I requested absentee ballots by phone as I couldn’t get it done online as I’ve always done in the past. She mailed those for my husband and myself, we filled them out, then the election was cancelled for 3/24 (I think) so they sat on my table. I got tired of looking at them and decided what the heck, I’ll mail them for a May date...Then last week I got two applications for absentee ballots again and we filled those out but for the same (presidential) that was scheduled for March. The ballots were the same as the earlier ones but the instructions were far different as tho’ they were being mailed to everyone on the voter rolls to keep people from going to the polls.
I recall looking at the schedule and seeing several dates for whatever until November. I don’t have the patience to go back and try to make sense of it now when I was looking at it earlier with far less stress than we’re facing now. Can’t go to the grocery store, may not have a caregiver coming to help with my husband or anyone to shop for me - order groceries delivered - HA - no available delivery dates after filling out my order...Not going to pretend that everything is rosy...tho’ I do know it could be worse! Sorry for the rambling...
Ok thanks for clearing that up. It sounds a little crazy

Youre way too kind ... its MASSIVELY INSANE.
Bump
She chose to play Day Trader - and she lost.
“but watch Mitch”
Truer words were never spoken. Mitch has shown a propensity to kneecap the Republican in the general and thus let a Dim win if Mitch doesn’t think the Republican will be under his control. Mitch is a snake.
“1 rat and 2 R running against each other. With all the BS the rats are going to be pulling we could lose this seat.”
Stranger things have happened. Loeffler should drop out of the race.
The ditz is getting done in...
That is correct. Technically it is a special election for the last 2 years of Isaksons term. So whoever wins will be running again in 2022 for a full 6 year term.
Yep. Collins is a shoe in Loeffler screwed the pooch with those stocks. The public sees right through it. She will remain a multi millionaire though.
She does not give a red rat’s ass. She got what she wanted. Game over, move on.
Hint. Start with his stock transactions.
Her husband (Jeffrey Sprecher) founded Inter Continental Exchange - a trading platform that originated selling energy futures, and has become very successful. His firm purchased the NYSE when its parent was headed to a European owner and concern built about non-US ownership of this key exchange platform. Sprecher was a classmate of mine in college - a very smart and studious fellow. His recognition of the need for better energy trading facilities was very astute, and he is probably a billionaire on a good day as a result of his insight and hard work. His wife was not ready for prime time as a candidate and the stock moves proved it. I am all in for Collins.
