30 countries have requested India to lift the ban on the export for a medicine - that could potentially help in curing Coronavirus patients. Can India export key medicines to the world right now, while ensuring there is enough for Indians?
"Calls out China for mishandling this and selling faulty test kits.
"Thirty countries have asked India to export hydroxychloroquine.
"India is a major pharmaceutical exporter and banned exports of hydroxychloroquine after the outbreak so they did not run out.
"President Trump called Modi to requst lifting export restrictions.
"Countries are not 100% sure it works, but want a stockpile just in case.
"Brazil, UAE, Indonesia, and South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation nations have asked India to accpet orders for hydroxychloroquine.
"Reportedly, a lot of those leaders are making personal appeals.

India has seen their numbers start to shoot up.
They will probably get stingy in the coming weeks.
40% of the world’s manufacturing of generics (like HCQ) are from India.
F’N CRAZY!
This is not a difficult drug to make so I think supply will be coming online quickly.
Now you know how the traitorous representatives sold us down the river while they got richer...and they have the nerve to blame Trump..spit! I hate’em to the core!!!
When this is all over then a lot of countries are going to start making a lot more of their own drugs. So countries like India and China had better plan for a long term economic hit.
Not going to happen. Generics are cost sensitive
It is being reported that Trump sealed a deal with India. India will supply the drug to the US.
In the least, shells of infrastructure need to be in place even if on idle to be able to start in the event of something occurring which disrupts supply. Otherwise you can be literal sitting ducks.
Keeping shells of infrastructure ready to be switched on takes a lot of money
