Trump touts hydroxychloroquine as a cure for Covid-19. Don't believe the hype
The anti-malaria drug could be ‘one of the biggest game-changers’, Trump claimed, but there is no magic cure
Faced with a global coronavirus pandemic that is increasingly centered upon the US, Donald Trump has touted several drugs that he claims can help tackle the outbreak.
In March, the US president used a press conference to promote the use of hydroxychloroquine, a common anti-malaria drug, to treat Covid-19, saying: “I sure as hell think we ought to give it a try.”

On Sunday Trump again touted hydroxychloroquine, saying “there are some very strong, powerful signs” of its potential as a Covid-19 therapy.
Trump has been repeatedly contradicted by public health experts including his own top infectious diseases adviser, Dr Anthony Fauci, who has warned that there is only “anecdotal evidence” that the drugs could be helpful.
Confronted with this disparity Trump, who has repeatedly made false and misleading assertions throughout the coronavirus crisis, responded by telling reporters that “I’m a smart guy” and “I’ve been right a lot”. The Fox News hosts Laura Ingraham and Sean Hannity have been promoting hydroxychloroquine on their shows.

well the docs actually treating people with it and getting positive results would beg to differ.
Ventilators are effective. The HCQ is effective, though we don't know why. And, that's the dangerous part. Z-pak seems to be effective, although it's an antibiotic, and antibiotics do not kill viruses. But, NONE OF THESE kill coronavirus. The whole idea of these procedures and drugs is to buy you time to give your own immune system time to kill the virus before it kills you.

A lie. Trump has never touted this as a cure but as a potentially useful treatment. A it has proven to be so.
Beat me to it. If Obama had said the very same things, the media would be praising him for offering hope in dark times. They’d almost have you believe he’d invented the drug himself, or was the first to propose its use for the CV.

Here’s what he actually said d at one point, according to the N.Y. Post:
“This would be a gift from heaven, this would be a gift from God if it works,” Trump said of the potential treatment at a Saturday press conference. “We are going to pray to God that it does work.”
Notice he says “if it works”, not that it would work, but don’t tell he MSM that. It would totally destroy their narrative.

HCQ has become too strategically a weapon against the virus. It could solve many problems in our armed forces. No sick pilots or submarine crews. IF it can be proven that one man tried do dissuade the use of HCQ, he/she should be investigated for high treason.

While one doctor after another is reporting good results from the drug. Now it is reported that nitric oxide kills the virus. Eat a lot of beets.
Ventilators are the last mile on the journey when your lungs are so gooped up breathing normally is impossible.
As to the combo the news from countries where people take HCQ for malaria is they seem to not get Covid virus, and neither do folks taking it for Lupus and other ailments.
As to the Zpac it kills the bacteria side of the illness and zinc is a necessary addition to allow the body to fight it off. The Human body requires 92 minerals to properly function and eating crap food and many pharma products can inhibit intake so the drugs can function (so called)
