All this when experts agree that rinsing yourself with water is infinitely more sanitary and environmentally sound. Dr. H. Randolph Bailey, a colorectal surgeon at the University of Texas McGovern Medical School in Houston, recommended bidets or toilet attachments, such as the Washlet or Tushy.

“A lot of people who come to see me have fairly significant irritation of their bottoms,” he said. “Most of the time it has to do with overzealous cleaning” — wiping too vigorously with toilet paper or using wipes, which often contain harsh fragrances and chemicals.

Is It Time for Americans to Embrace the Bidet? Moreover, he said, you’re just never going to get as clean as rinsing with water. Cleanliness matters, since you can get seriously ill from diseases transmitted via feces. Cholera, hepatitis, and E. coli and urinary tract infections are prime examples. Recent studies have found coronavirus in feces, as well.

I wonder how many muzzies are unable to use their left hand with all the chopping off of limbs for theft?

I see it comes from ‘behind’. That sucks!

a better way especially for women is to come from the front.
Isn’t it time for a different type toilet altogether?

What woman wants shit pushed toward her ‘private’
and left wet? Sheesh!

My wife wouldn't put up with an extension cord across the floor.

Simple enough, just staple it to the ceiling and use a white cord to blend with it.

Use only water pressure. Put an extension on the feed to the toilet, with a diverter valve within easy reach; attach the sprayer thingy to the other end of the alternate water feed from the diverter valve.

So they’ve a newfound concern about all things “sanitary” and “environmental”?? Wow!

Wait till they find out about widespread buggery at “bathhouses” and the millions of unscreened illegal alien invaders streaming across the borders.

I think Trump’s tweet feed should ‘mistakenly’ refer to Joe Bidet and claim it was an honest typo/error.

In the 90’s I owned a home with a bidet in the master bathroom. Neither my wife nor I ever used it. More trouble than it was worth.

And also amebiasis, salmonella, shigella, pinworms, schistosomiasis, polio, giardiasis, ascaris worms, tape worms. et al.!

He's absolutely right about this, but the bidet is not necessary. In almost every American home the shower is near the toilet. It's easy to wash off in the shower after every bowel movement. I've been doing it for years. It only takes a few minutes.

Think how much people spend on nice smelling soaps and colognes. Yet merely wiping leaves a film of fecal material between the buttocks whose smell counteracts all those efforts.

Furthermore, I am always squeaky-clean, hygienic, and ready for love!

Sounds great, right? They neglected to say such a thing would cost $500-$600.

My brother picked one up for under $150.00 at Lowes or Home Depo. It is heated and everything.
