It’s a really bad time to be an antivaxer. I truly hope you are not advocating that vaccine is not warranted. If there were a CoVId vaccine trial I will be first in line. I get my flu vaccine to protect me,my patients, my family, and yes even every ignorant ass who insists vaccines are garbage. Considering they through vaccines we have eradicated small pox and other diseases like polio i have no words if you believe vaccines are big business.

I looked into some possible causes of that. Here are a few:

1. Stress, from pandemic. Yes,increase stress causes increased death rates. Well known.
2. Home care providers stop doing their rounds, afraid of catching Covid-19. Granny ends up in ER 10 days later.

And overseas, they are seeing a spike in elderly nursing home deaths NOT from Covid-19. Old people just dropping dead overnight, and they don’t know why. They suspect it is stress from Covid-19 panic.

One way for figures to lie. IIRC, on a few of these threads people reported that patients dying WITH COVID-19 were being reported as dying OF COVID-19.

The party poo-poopers showed up and claimed this wasn't happening.

I agree 100%!! I never understood how someone who had never had to treat patients and with essentially a business degree was allowed to make rules for healthcare personnel. It became worse in the last years of my career with all the regulations imposed on patient providers.

Why are we not hearing any statistics on the usual deaths per month, per state or per country? If anyone who has tested positive for COVID-19 dies of other causes, they seem to be counting them as stats for the virus. They were doing this in Italy. That’s why I’d love to see the statistics for how many usually die this time of year. Why are we not seeing those statistics?
