Born and raised in Philadelphia , aa d used their subway systems very routinely, sure they are dirty but not the dank, grime of NYC and nowhere near the sardine like conditions of a work hours ride.
Throw in the size of the buildings and the , in many case 5 + lanes of traffic and even with emissions Control a lot of emitted stuff clinging to everything.
I’m WAY out here in the country on my 18 acre homestead. I live along side a state highway that is usually moderately busy in the day and light traffic in the evening.
Alabama now has a curfew from 5:00 PM to 5:00 AM... Cases are sky-rocketing here.
Nobody on the highway. Quiet, except for a million birds singing their heads off.
I’m not going to Walmart this morning.
