Worked in the city for 2 years, daughter lives there with grandson , due to custody battle, so frequent visitor and renter of some of the real living conditions.

Besides the movie portrayals of Manhattan, Central Park it’s one overcrowded , trash on the sidewalks in many of the boroughs dirty place

The subways are as Bray describes.

Born and raised in Philadelphia , aa d used their subway systems very routinely, sure they are dirty but not the dank, grime of NYC and nowhere near the sardine like conditions of a work hours ride.

Throw in the size of the buildings and the , in many case 5 + lanes of traffic and even with emissions Control a lot of emitted stuff clinging to everything.

I’m WAY out here in the country on my 18 acre homestead. I live along side a state highway that is usually moderately busy in the day and light traffic in the evening.

Alabama now has a curfew from 5:00 PM to 5:00 AM... Cases are sky-rocketing here.

Nobody on the highway. Quiet, except for a million birds singing their heads off.

I’m not going to Walmart this morning.

I might go to Piggly Wiggly tomorrow morning.

Looking for times people aren’t out and about too much.
