Wake up Americans! We are by nature a civil and law-abiding people, but what we are being subjected to is monstrous. As VDH reminded, 740 people die in California each day for a vast variety of causes. The virus has upped that number by four people a day. California has a population of forty million people. Is that a viable justification for destroying the livelihoods of multi-millions which will no doubt lead to far more death and destruction?
Drs Fauci and Birx may be experts in their fields but their fields are not economics nor the preservation of the nation. Both of them see this pandemic through a very narrow lens. Both of them downplayed the danger of this virus until mid-January, but we are now hostage to their models. Their models are like climate change models, loaded with bias and speculation. They are relatively meaningless and yet we have shuttered the business of the United States because of their guesswork!
It is time for President Trump to utilize his uncommon common sense and put a stop this China-orchestrated full-scale attack on our country. Easter Sunday would the perfect day to set the nation free from the madness this particular virus has perpetrated on us all. President Trump, let those with compromised immune systems self-quarantine and set the rest of the population free to get back to work. You can do it. Do it now.

Yes, it is time to end the panic. The Wuhan Flu is a serious flu but we have a successful treatment protocol. It is time to get the country back working from our self induced panic driven coma....before America dies.
He needs to do even less than that. He needs to announce that he is working on the exit strategy from this.
If our trained medical and military staff get infected it will take decades to rebuild that precious resource.

I think she’s right except we need more tests to be available. You can’t let carriers out into the gen pop yet. But the gen pop is going to need to be freed within six-eight weeks. Hope by then that we have tens of millions of tests ready.

If death rate from it is around 1%? Decimation is 10% loss. (We don’t know cripple rate yet, though.)

Rush is also pushing Trump to restart the economy but this illness is NO JOKE. If we don't stay the course it would be a far greater disaster. We already see what's happened in states that shrugged off the taskforce, like Georgia. It's positive results are higher than CA's at 15% now and Dr. Birx noted that those testing positive now were cases transmitted during the 15 days.
I don't doubt we'll see a robust recovery soon enough when this is over so long as Trump's reelected. We can't afford to waste time on Pelosi being speaker, her House majority must end.
Step into any Georgia Publix, Walmart, Kroger, Target... and up to this point you're likely to have found huge crowds. If we're supposed to social distance, why are we allowing hundreds into the grocery stores per hour or half hour? Looks like some of these companies have come to their senses and realized they're asking to be hot zones for the pandemic spread so have announced plans to limit maximum number of customers inside at a time.
It looks to me like all this did was reduce the virus till a future date
If no lock down. 1,000,000 Cases in one month
Lock down 250,000 cases each month for four months
And maybe a small reduction in cases
Of course Fauci would go nuts. He wants the entire world shut down.
We treat patients and always have. Fauci has some different concept in his head.
