Walmart Will Limit Number of Customers in Stores Starting Saturday......

Walmart announced it will limit the number of people inside its stores at the same time during the COVID-19 pandemic.....“Starting Saturday, we will limit the number of customers who can be in a store at once. Stores will now allow no more than five customers for each 1,000 square feet at a given time, roughly 20 percent of a store’s capacity,” according to a release. Store employees will start a line at a single-entry door and will tell customers to go there to queue. They will then be allowed in the store one-by-one, according to the company.

“Associates and signage will remind customers of the importance of social distancing while they’re waiting to enter a store–especially before it opens in the morning,” the store wrote.

Customers will be admitted inside one at a time when a store reaches capacity.

“We’ll also institute one-way movement through our aisles next week in a number of our stores, using floor markers and direction from associates. We expect this to help more customers avoid coming into close contact with others as they shop,” the Arkansas-based retailer said.

“And once customers check out, they will be directed to exit through a different door than they entered, which should help lessen the instances of people closely passing each other,” it said.

Target on Thursday announced a similar measure to promote social distancing as the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) virus continues to spread.

“It’s either them or me and I reckon I’m more expendable.”

Very noble of you.

I was just getting out of the hospital when the whole MSM-induced-hoarding panic struck. I was too weak to shop for a week. Luckily my prepper supplies were heavy on sanitation stuff so I was able to restock bar soap, liquid hand soap, hand sanitizer, anti-bacterial wipes, etc. from that. I’d also just bought large packs of TP and paper towels before I got sick so I’ve been very fortunate.

I think if you wear a face mask and have/use hand sanitizer in your car you’ll be OK. That’s what I have. So far so good and I have a half dozen high-risk conditions. I think the trick is to get a low virus load to allow the body’s immune system the longest time to get an anti body solution worked up and deployed. When I got sick in Jan. my body temperature actually went down 1.6 degrees. Took 3 days on IV medicine drips before it was above 98 again so I don’t think I have Covid antibodies. Minimizing viral load is my strategy now.

Best of luck.

Not really noble, just necessary.

Until I get the “neck gaiters” done that I bought fabric for, I’m using a bandanna, gloves and a *lot* of spacing between me and them.

I’m using my left hand to touch things because, as someone said, it’s kind of hard to touch your face with your off-hand and for whatever reason, it does seem to work.

I really hope and pray you dodge this and I will include you in my prayers.

We have two WalMarts and I went to the one outside of town which is much less frequented by people.

They said they had no plans to fence off any sections but I have not seen the other WalMart yet so maybe they did.

The girl who cut my fabric had to basically hack through it as she said so many were coming in for face mask material that her scissors were dull and the store won’t let her just go to the rack and open another pair.

I’m with you...if I need and can grab something from the taped-off area, I will.

I’m making these, substituting double layers of stretch jersey [like t shirt fabric] for fleece.

I want a fit as tight as possible with the least amount of handling needed to pull them up and down.

She might want to look at these

“... and I will include you in my prayers.”

Oh, Wow! You have no idea how much I truly appreciate this. I made it through 4 years in Iraq without a scratch IMO due to my mother, sister and their congregation saying weekly prayers for me. I can’t tell you the number of close calls I had in distance and time which I cannot attribute to luck. Many of them were just uncanny. In total, impossible.

Thank you so much.

Given what you have written, I will double up on them.

God bless and thank you for serving.

Props to the wonderful people who kept you safe with their prayers.

Absolutely priceless.

:)
