Our State Veterans home is a death trap because they had a political hack running it instead of a nursing home professional.

Reporters are clueless on logistics and supply chains. One of the rules of a stockpile is it saves you time for a surge in demand. If you don’t have a stockpile, it will take you time to get the supplies. It’s called ‘lead time’. Very basic.
Oh, they’re regulated at the state level. But Fedzilla, through CMS, plays a part. It’s the CMS rules that were relaxed to allow nursing homes to refuse if the facilities fit the criteria. NYS is insisting that the nursing homes take back the WuFlu patients regardless.

I don’t understand what Trump means when he says the federal government needs the ventilators? Does anyone here have an answer?
