Staffers for Joe Biden are working to arrange a call between the former vice president and President Trump over the coronavirus crisis, according to reports.
Biden told reporters of the effort to connect over the phone with Trump late Thursday during a virtual fundraiser, Axios reports.
“Yesterday, the Trump administration suggested I should call the president to offer my help,” Biden said with a laugh. “Well, I’m happy to hear he’ll take my call; my team’s working with him with set it up.”
No timeframe for the call was offered, according to the report.
Trump, meanwhile, said during a White House press briefing Wednesday that he’d “love” to talk to Biden about the growing coronavirus outbreak.

He is NOT the official nominee (yet) nor is he relevant in any way to what is happening so the only thing he will offer after the call is political sniping and games.

Funny, I don’t recall that happening. I thought POTUS Trump was simply answering a stupid Reporter question by saying something they didn’t expect.

If Biden had any brains, balls, whatever, he’d have already made the call and let Trump tell us about it. But somehow the imbecile thinks staging the event is what matters.
