The CDC used the IMHE model to base their numbers on. The model was way off in its predictions.

The Comfort was sent to take the burden of non-COVID patients off of the NYC hospitals. They are not there to take on infectious patients.
For whatever reason, non-COVID patients are not being transferred .... which makes one wonder if non-COVID patients are just not receiving care, or if the hospitals are not as slammed as the media is reporting, or maybe I should say would like us to believe.
In the meanwhile, The Gothamist has written an opinion piece on the Samaritan’s Purse hospital; however, despite their ‘cocktail party opinion’, when you get down to brass tacks, the issue is “to breathe, or not to breathe”. I suspect that most people, given that choice, would go to a Christian hospital and accept their help, rather than drown/suffocate in their own lung fluids. If you have ever seen an air hunger panic attack (I have and it has profoundly affected me), you know what people will choose.

Thousands of ventilators sitting in NY warehouses while NY Governor Cuomo sobs daily on national TV that there aren’t enough ventilators.
The USN hospital ship sits idle in NY Harbor while Cuomo whines about hospitals overflowing.

This line of story is stupid. The ship only pulled into NYC late on Monday. They had 20 patients on board by Thursday afternoon. The surge in patients is still forecast to rise dramatically over the next two weeks.
For the sake of military readiness, they haven’t wanted to make it a coronavirus ship, but to instead take the non-coronavirus.
My guess is that at this point most in-hospital patients in the NYC area have also been exposed to coronavirus and so the numbers for that are small. More and more facilities are going to have to be designated for coronavirus as there are fewer and fewer hospital patients who aren’t infected.
I’m beginning to think lot of this is “fake over whelming”.

Maybe, just maybe, many people who have no symptoms, but have suffered a traumatic injury, test positive for Covid-19 in New York City.
Here in New Mexico we have run over 10,000 tests with a positive result of less than 2%. But we are still shut down.

People have been gaslighted into believing the hospitals are overrun with the dead and dying from CORONA-19. The US Navy hospital ships Mercy and Comfort each have 1,000 beds and only 80 beds for intensive care and have been sent to help with the “overloaded hospital system”, as reported by the government and the media.
However, that’s a complete lie.
New York State has 3,000 intensive care beds, 18 times that of both ships combined. New York State also has 73,931 hospital beds in total, or 36 times both ships combined.
In the US, there are 6,146 hospitals with 924,107 hospital beds with 97,776 intensive care beds. The gaslighting of Americans is that two ships of 2,000 beds total and only 160 intensive care beds is absolutely necessary to a hospital system with 462 times the number of beds and 611 times the number of intensive care beds because somehow the virus is overloading the hospital system.

They questioned him about his view on hydroxychlorinique, as well as doctors positive opinion of it and he had a smirk on his face and refused to accept it. The faces of the three were not happy, especially Kilmeade. Then to offer a little humor, they asked him what he thought of the bobble head of him that is being produced for donations. He must have missed the donation part and then got quite offensive.....”they can do whatever they want, I don’t have time for this kind of thing”. (Paraphrased). Then kilmeade clarified they were being sold for donations. He then said, “well that’s okay then”, with a brush off of his hand.

That’s a really good analogy. I’m of the belief that the CV is a REALLY bad thing. My wife, while taking all of the precautions that I tell her, thinks it is some sort of plot.
