THE SMITH CENTER FOR INFECTIOUS DISEASES:
https://www.smithcenternj.org/
INTRODUCTION
The Smith Center for Infectious Diseases and Urban Health was developed to address infectious diseases in the inner city. This non-profit center, which is initially focusing on HIV, recognizes that inner city patients face many unique challenges in their daily lives. These challenges interfere with treatment of infectious diseases and foster an environment where infectious diseases are easily spread. Infectious diseases are different from other diseases in that successful treatment reduces their spread.
When you treat a person with diabetes, you treat that one person. When you treat a person with HIV, you greatly reduce the chances of transmission and treat the whole community. In the past 10 years there have been incredible advances in HIV treatment. The drugs are easier to take and extremely effective.
Inner city HIV+ patients in New Jersey have excellent access to physicians and clinics. The state provides free medications to those without insurance. Yet the number of new HIV cases per year in New Jersey has stayed the same for the past decade.
We at the Smith Center believe that by using novel approaches we can rid New Jersey of HIV. We have designed programs to incentivize patients to continue their medications. We have created a personal atmosphere, where each patient is known by her or his first name.

I live in NJ and was lucky enough to get a procedure to manage pain last Friday. While getting this I received both a COVID-19 test and was lucky enough to be there while the infectious disease doctors from the hospital system where at the center inspecting it.
A long talk with the infectious disease team soon revealed what this and other doctors have confirmed. There are treatments and they are having success with them.
So then, why is it that guys like Dr. Stephen Fauci King are rolling eyes? Because Dr. Fauci the Duce is a bureaucrat. He is paid to prolong problems, not solve them. It isn’t a conscience effort on his part. It is in his DNA since he has been a bureaucrat for so damn long. Cures and treatments without years of testing are anathema to him. They solve a problem and that is a job security no no right there.
THANK YOU for good news no this depressing news day!!
Talking about 40 million unemployed.
A second wave of the virus almost guaranteed.
I was about to tighten the noose but they I saw this thread.
But then I slipped off the chair. Thank God I’m so heavy the beam just ripped out of the ceiling.
I knew being fat would save my lie one day!!!
JK
You can't say that! The leftists aren't through trying to trash the economy and damage President Trump yet! This Dr. and his findings will have to be at a minimum buried as non-news, though discredited and attacked would suit the leftists more.
We havent had anyone under 70 who didnt have a very high BMI, or was pre or diabetic, get seriously ill, he said. This is amazing stuff.
I’m not sure how to decipher this...
So they’re saying that the drugs did not help patients under 70 that were obese or had diabetes/pre-diabetes?
It seems to contradict the headline.

Hmmm....im 48, with a1c of 7.0. 200 blood sugar. 35BMI...need to lose 30 lbs FAST!
Excellent, and validates Dr Raoul’s French study and Dr V Zelenko’s findings among the NY Hasidic community.
I would love to see a 100% success rate with HCQ/Zpack but I’m not seeing it on doctor twitter accounts and internet articles. However it’s great for a ‘first line of defense’ and works quite fast for some patients who get discharged, even some on ventilators. Consensus seems to be it might need to be given earlier, on positive test and covid19 symptoms, rather than just on hospitalized patients. Italy is doing this now. Hopefully it will make a big difference for them.
’I think this is the beginning of the end of the pandemic,’ he concluded. ‘Im very serious.’
That’s the line I picked up on during the interview last night.
