The numbers don’t relate, unless you had a massive testing program (like South Korea went to). You might have 1,000 folks walking around NY City, with almost no symptoms beyond a sore throat or a low-energy situation.

You're absolutely right. You have to do cases/population. Example...My town has 4 confirmed cases; population is 45,000. So say 1 in 10,000 right now....and it hasn't changed in 3 weeks.

But if we did mass testing, say we tested 1,000 random...what would it be??

All they're doing with the present testing "system" is showing a rise....well duh. You're only testing sick folks.
