Rocker?

When have I ever heard a song from him?

I did hear a song from his half-brother Julian back in 1984...

Does anybody remember Valotte?

His mother ruined his solo career, but he went and found the bassist from Primus and they actually do jam rock albums that sellout and sell.

I remember that...it was a good song and a good effort from a talented man.

Here is an tune from his step-mother. VOICE PIECE FOR SOPRANO & WISH TREE at MoMA, Summer 2010 by yoko ono.

I do. I was 23 and in grad school at Villanova at the time, and I saw pictures of Julian and was knocked out at the resemblance to his dad. He sounded like John too.

These lines from "Valotte" resonate encouragingly with me in light of the Covid crisis...

"When will we know when the change is gonna come

I've got a good feeling and it's coming from the sun"

and

"Do you know there's something wrong

We'll stick together 'cause we're strong"

Yes, I remember several of Julian’s songs. He actually had hits.
