No, I don’t like to go after people personally, unless it’s something that hits me personally. I don’t believe in turning the other cheek. The republican’t party does that far too much and look where it’s got us.
I really don’t know anything about the Vietnam war. I’m lucky in that none of my family ever went there. What were those unlawful orders given by a junior officer?
Remember when either the state or national guard and police went around to homes in New Orleans after Katrina, confiscating firearms? Were those lawful orders? Going further, were they lawful in that they followed the proper chain of command, or also in that the logic was sound, nobody became an injured party as far as the law is concerned? Were the orders to confiscate firearms after Katrina lawful?
I love Governor Abbott
Actually thats a great idea!
Look at

for a summary of one of this countries worst moments. (I just realized I misspelled it earlier)
As for things like Katrina, just my opinion, but no, gun confiscation was unconstitutional then and it would be now as well. I think its a problem that neither soldiers or police today, many of them anyway, do not understand that such action is counter to their oath. Sadly it also reflects the poor education system with lack of civics and us history we currently have. But there is an element of elected leaders who are happy to have a robot army to exercise their authority.
