Silliness. It is simple because there are not enough. Are we to believe that medical personnel have a dire need for them, bit for everybody else they are worthless?
They are pissing on our backs and telling us it’s raining.
One of the reasons is if you wear a mask you start touching your face more.
Medical personnel do invasive procedures on infected patients that require them to get up-close and personal.
You are wandering around out in public presumably with a six foot bubble between you and anybody else.
Apples and oranges.
Take a 12 by 12 inch piece of cloth and attach two rubber bands using two staples.
Put cloth on face and rubber bands around ears.
Put on eyeglasses/sunglasses to close bridge of nose gaps.
Put another rubber band around cloth and neck.

The reasons that medical personnel wear masks, i.e., in the operating room, for example, are to prevent the person wearing the mask from giving their germs to anyone else, not to prevent them from receiving germs from someone else.
Now do you understand?:
Anyone wearing a mask in public is trying to prevent giving their ChiCom virus to anyone else.....or so they say.
Don’t be stupid. Medical personnel need them because they are clearly dealing with sick and effected people. THat’s not necessarily the case when you run to the store or pharmacy. Think a little bit before you write.

Because normal people don’t know how to activate them to work properly, no magic touch, no “I Love Me” wall full of expensive degrees. Surgeon General needs to get back to the O.R. and leave us to our own N95’s or N100’s or nothing at all.
Funny how the countries with high mask usage have better flattened curves than countries with low or no mask usage.
