Because normal people don’t know how to activate them to work properly, no magic touch, no “I Love Me” wall full of expensive degrees. Surgeon General needs to get back to the O.R. and leave us to our own N95’s or N100’s or nothing at all.
Funny how the countries with high mask usage have better flattened curves than countries with low or no mask usage.

Ordinary cloth will not keep viruses out -— they are 0.03 MICRONS in size. The rest of your instructions are good. Buy a high end furnace filter that will filter viruses, and remove the fabric from the frame. Use it instead of cloth. Staple, tape or sew a “tuck” in the sides to conform it to the shape of your face.
ps: I use that Veva brand in my big shopvacs out in, well, the shop.

Only applies to the soft bi-colored masks worn in medical settings, but my understanding is that wearing the blue side facing out protects the wearer and wearing the white side facing out protects the others.
Has worked on all touch screens for me. This is just an example of the type of thing I use.
