You bet, FRiend ;-)
That was who I had in mind. At one of the briefings he spoke about how records had been set with the economy and then the virus. He is so unwavering, but it has to be tough.
Ok, I was.more interested in all the stuff did before it was even a minute thought of these MSM talking heads.
Not to say, stories focused on fr.org are not interesting in their own right
Oh, I agree that that's interesting.
But think about it... it would have been distracting and silly if they started getting worried about a global health emergency and demanding Trump pay attention to it at the same time that they were conducting his impeachment trial in the Senate. If they acted concerned about coronavirus, it would have made the impeachment show seem like a dangerous waste of time, much ado about literally nothing. The whole thing would have collapsed in a flash.
Ergo, they buried it. The MSM and the Democrats both. They knew damn well they could go wall-to-wall with it later, and the average American would start jumping up and down and screaming for Trump's head without a second thought.
Thanks for the explanation. You did a good job showing how they turned to horrendously politicizing it as soon as the bogus impeachment expired.
It would be interesting to also show how the story started Dec 31 and was completely ignored in favor of the bogus impeachment. Then how the press interest turned to the impending pandemic only after the impeachment fizzled.
*** I started the first live thread on the 24th or 26th of JAN ***
I posted to your thread on January 25th that it was ridiculous that according to flightaware.com that 30 fights a day from China were coming into the West Coast.
These flights continued past the time POTUS said they were stopped, BTW.
FluBros will not be participating in this obviously,

Wow... you have done a LOT of work for us here. Thank you!
[While globalization has delivered soaring profits for corporate executives, working- and middle-class American communities have been left behind to grapple with fewer jobs, less industry, stagnant wages, and increase competition in the labor market due to decades-long mass legal immigration.
Since 2001, free trade with China has cost millions of Americans their jobs. For example, the Economic Policy Institute has found that from 2001 to 2015, about 3.4 million U.S. jobs were lost due to the nations trade deficit with China.
Of the 3.4 million U.S. jobs lost in that time period, about 2.6 million were lost in the manufacturing industry, making up about three-fourths of the loss of jobs from the U.S.-Chinese trade deficit.]
And then H1-B since, there aren’t enough American workers, ya know.....
Wow!!! Great job!!! BTTT!!!
I looked at my pings awhile ago and iirc, the first one he had pinged was December 31st(?), when the WHO were in China investigating a new SARS type illness.
The first one I actually read was mid January. It is sort of a pain to go back in time on FR to look, but it was interesting when I did it. December was Christmas stuff, the “impeachment” and “Florida Man” stories.
Early January was some music threads, Neil Peart passing away, and more “Florida Man” stories along with the democrat debates, etc.
Most of it since January 22 has been this virus stuff.
Im sure a few of those were mine - I dumped all my stock holdings in late January, after talking about TEOTWAWKI - what a fool I was (/sarcasm)

Maybe privately, but publicly they will be taking credit for the rebound.
5 February: The end of Nancy’s delays at impeachment.
Did she see the COVID-19 crisis as a good omen?
