Schools and businesses in Pennsylvania will remain closed until further notice because of the coronavirus pandemic, the state's governor said on Monday.

“Indefinite” closures... I’m sure that will play well in the stock market. Pretty soon there won’t be anything left to “open” once our overlords decide we can go back outside.
Just saw that.Thanks.
Now the Prog agenda fueled hysteria is switching to the rapid growth of cases away from the end of the world fatality rate. The Progs quickly recognized the the larger number of cases was depressing the fatality rate.
Once the case growth rate flattens out we will then hear from the tyrant governors discuss how they will safely restart the economy and restore freedom. It will be on their time frame. The whole thing doesnt end until there is a Prog/Dem elected as President.
Ping me!
As expected. Considering that our neighbors to the east are NY and NJ, things could be a lot worse. Philadelphia is up over 1,000 cases though, which isn’t good. People here in the suburbs are being pretty disciplined. We’ve been at this since 3/14. We just got a robocall on the house phone. The county commissioners are getting out the word that we’re getting more community spread and to stay home unless it’s health essential. Getting more serious.
Hes going to lift it the day after Election Day. This way he can force mail in voting that is the rats goal now.
I'm paying a little extra to shop at Giant Eagle since there is only two of us. But it isn't a whole lot better. Grocery pickups or delivery is pretty much unavailable unless you have the time to camp on-line when new slots a week or so away are open. Wal-Mart is only reserving two days at a time.
Let’s hope not. He has a Republican legislature which pushes back when he gets too far out of line. I’ve filed my application for mail-in voting just in case, but I’m a committee person and intend to be there in person.
Like the petty tyrants in other states, this petty tyrant in Pennsylvania wants to be sure he keeps up with the pace of “new powers” he can grant to himself during the Chinese Flu crisis. Lots of crisis envy going on around the country ... nobody in power wants to miss out on this (hopefully) once—in-a-lifetime opportunity, y’know.
If The rats get mail voting we lose. The vote Harvest will be a tsunami we will not be able to overcome.
The local farmer’s markets around my area are crowded with people. I went by a Home Depot and the parking lot was half full. The grocery stores are doing a huge business as is Walmart.
your tax rebate is in the mail.
The open-ended lockdown is insult enough, but I watched part of the video-Tommie The Commie has a smirk on his face throughout.
Just a little side note - we just received notice that home-schoolers in our district (we’re in Bucks County) have been exempted from evaluations, maintaining required hours/days, standardized testing, etc. Grandson has already finished his on-line 2nd grade course, in addition to supplemental workbooks and STEM activities like Kiwi Box, so he’s fine.
We’ll be keeping up all of our records and have a portfolio put together, just in case they try to mess with us.
Probably going to turn out to be way ahead of the pack when this is all calmed down. Best wishes!
Essential places are open like Target, Walmart, grocery stores, fast food, etc. So, how are all of the people who work in those places not getting the virus? I haven’t heard of any (or maybe I’m not reading the right articles).
Why can’t we do the same - whatever it is they’re doing?
We’ve found the local stores to be reasonably stocked lately, although the selection isn’t as extensive as usual. Fortunately some of the stores have early hours for seniors, which we have used. Like you, we go to stores that are a bit more expensive to avoid some of the crowds. We always keep some extra supplies on hand and we hit Costco back in January and February to freshen up our reserves. I wouldn’t go near it now except maybe the gas pumps.
Liberals that I know are least wearying of Tom Wolfe and his dictums. And I stand up and say, You wanted a strong, activist government? Heres your strong, activist government, pal! Enjoy it!!
You can see their heads start to vibrate as their faces fill with blood and their gorge rises.
