Earlier this week I thought Rush was too hard on the Doctors but I’ve seen that they (doctors) want to keep the country shut down until there are no further cases. It’s never going to happen. And Fauci continues to downplay the hydroxyQ=Zpac combination as a treatment and maybe even a prophylactic for the care providers.

Once that combination is recognized by the country then the country can be reopened while keeping some social distancing and other things like frequent hand washing and using hand sanitizer. So Rush is right and the draconian actions by some state governors (all Dems by the way) will be recognized as more of a power grab and not all medically necessary.

I thought this was interesting re Fauci:

January 26, 2020:

Government health agency official (Dr. Fauci): Coronavirus 'isn't something the American public need to worry about'

Excerpt:

Anthony Fauci, director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID), said Sunday the American public shouldn’t worry about the coronavirus outbreak in China.

“It’s a very, very low risk to the United States,” Fauci said during an interview with radio show host John Catsimatidis.

April 2, 2020:

Fauci says that all states should have stay-at-home orders

Excerpt:

Anthony Fauci, the nation’s leading infectious disease expert and member of the Trump administration’s coronavirus task force, said he doesn’t know why some states still do not have stay-at-home orders in place to stem the spread of the coronavirus.

"Whether there should be a federally mandated directive for that or not, I guess that’s more of a political question, but just scientifically, doesn’t everybody have to be on the same page with this stuff?” CNN’s Anderson Cooper asked the physician during an interview on live television Thursday evening.

"I don't understand why that's not happening,” Fauci responded. “If you look at what's going on in this country, I just don't understand why we're not doing that. We really should be." ***

I don't understand why our entire country had to be shut down by the nation’s leading infectious disease expert who -- just two months ago -- stated: 'It's a very, very low risk to the United States'. Is this guy really the expert "everyone" says he is??
