The owner of a Chinese factory in an online group chat suggested intentionally calibrating forehead thermometers shipped to the United States a few degrees cooler than what the actual temperature is.
That way Americans who are sick will not register as having a fever and will then spread the coronavirus.

Their firm belief in their superiority makes them stupid enough to try this. However, this may be fake news, because the Chinese do sell us thermometers calibrated for readings for taking temperature by mouth, or by rectum, or by under the arm readings. The consumer has to know how to use it correctly.
Cut them off, kick them out of here, China has to go.
Would be better to pay off our debt to them, in full, with money that disintegrates in one day after contact with room air.
We have an Exergen forehead thermometer that consistently reads 2 degrees lower than actual temperature. Made in USA.
That said - don’t buy chinese junk.
