Not just that. They have to explain how that results in at least 80,000 US dead from WuFlu. They also have to justify four more weeks. After all, two weeks ago they said two weeks, maybe four, would get the job done. Now, with lower death rates, they say more time is needed. Explain.

The only mention of that was Trump, who only offered that testing started two days ago. That's BS on it's face because we have test results older than that. Maybe Trump is letting pressure build so FDA can answer why IT is not allowing or encouraging use. Who knows. I have very low confidence in government, and that's a generous summary of my attitude.
How many of deaths are attributed to covid when it really was in conjunction with, say...a heart attack, or a bad surgery outcome? Just wondering

I think it don't matter much where it ships from. Most of it was made in China no matter where it ships from.

11,727 tested. 737 positive. 17 needing hospitalization.
If 17 hospitalizations for every 737 who actually have it holds, this thing is pretty beatable.

During the briefing, Trump mentioned that he, Fauci and Brix had briefly discussed regional lifting of the shelter in place guidelines, but that Fauci and Brix had recommended against it. To be fair, there are probably multiple reasons for and against it, but one possible reason against it that I can think of that might have held sway is that it would have led to yet more infighting among the governors concerning quarantining at the state borders level, allocation versus denial of emergency health resources, and so on. Beyond that, a sociological reason is that it might lead to adding to the difficulty of getting a unified message across to the American public to continue to be careful about social distancing, which (Trump noted) is one key to overcoming the virus at the national level.

This was disappointing and frightening (not to me because I stay informed) but, these people perhaps in accounting for human nature may be trying to get more people to change their behavior to knock this out. I hope we see what was previously hoped for by Easter.

I was thinking similar...when on Easter it’s seen that every place except NYC, NEW ORLEANS and LA or DETROIT...have declined to “ normal”...then on April 13th...can start a rolling open...and President Trump will smile.
I wonder if there’s any way to get ahold of someone at OAN to get their person on site to ask the question, “Many areas are seeing illegal violations of civil rights, like the second amendment, by their state government officials. Would you please address this soon?”
Apparently not. Most of the nurses and doctors wearing a mask, changing for each person they see, not all of who are Covid-19 patients though they wouldn't know that when they saw them. I can see each hospital going through dozens, maybe hundreds per hour. And that's day after day. So yeah, I can see them needing millions to get through the next few months.

I can’t say. They could send Virus 20. They could panic the sheep again. The opportunities are endless. I suppose at the right time we will know.
