It is the nature of modern media and civilization for certain events to bring about speedy, global responses. For us to nip this virus properly it really does take a measure of discipline at every level.
Inalienable rights are just that. They do not leave us even if we tempoarily suspend their exercise for the common good, i.e. to prevent widespread death. When we do not know what we are up against, this type of behavior is to be expected.
As I write this, it is becoming more clear that bans on gatherings and work shutdowns will soon cease. I’m not going to get all worked up about this temporary wielding of authority. In fact, it’s a good thing we have it. “Every man for himself” is a piss poor way to self-govern.
Problem is, the voters need to remember this in NOV and the MSM has been lying like there’s no tomorrow that it’s Trump’s fault and the brain dead with TDS are buying it hook, line, and sinker.
