If the NYC trials are only allowing for it until the illness advances to a critical stage, it will not likely be effective. The key to this treatment is to administer it prior to requiring mechanical ventilation. Dr. Dider Raoult has been very clear as to the required procedure for this treatment. I heard something this morning about NYC hospitals requiring a patient to have had the virus a minimum of 21 days before allowing for this treatment. If so, the trial results will simply fail to compare to Dr. Dider Raoult's two most recent trials along with the updated results from the Mediterranee Infection Institute (1003 treated, 1 death as of March 29)
Anyone with symptoms and a positive test needs to be treated. Dont wait til a hospital admission.
Thanks for posting this. I have started checking this same page every day hoping it is still trending well.
Thanks for the catch. My error.
Coumo has designed the test to fail, waiting 21 days on ventilators to begin treatment. This is criminal. This pandemic can be stopped right now.
Anecdotal.
So I guess if you're hospitalized in Nevada or Michigan, by decree from the "governors" you can't get this and are SOL.
I the absence of rapid testing a positive clinical diagnosis should be enough reason to begin treatment.

Agree - Make this agreement in advance with your primary physician. The drug is still available in most pharmacies. If he disagrees without siting any reason specific to your tolerance for this treatment, remind him of the FDA approval to allow for this drug to be prescribed off-label.
Thanks for the Link.
Two weeks from know, we’ll pretty much know.
The Media will still be on a uninformed TDS Suicide Mission, But we’ll all have data to make educated, science driven decisions.
Yes I think that is key EARLY DIAGNOSIS...The NOLA ER DOC put in a sentence in his report saying that the anti malarials weren’t working for his patients but he did use the Z-Pack ...that was suspicious to me but it may be that one truly cannot delay with this disease in getting proper treatment.
I have heard of doctors doing just this - they are taking HCQ as a prophylactic (which is how its intended to be used for malaria as well)
And, once again, our government masters make The Rules that doom us serfs - The Rules that only apply to the serfs.
I read the NOLA Dr’s post from yesterday. He had no information of any value regarding this treatment. My sense was that he was indifferent to this topic based on his choice of words used when he pivoted to this topic.

If only we could get to France, quickly!
Which American docs/clinics to you know of that are dispensing/allowed to dispence this proven, lifesaving protocol?
Also....waiting for tests and test RESULTS can take over a week, in many parts of the US.
Like Scott Adams said...by then, you’re (very likely) intubated. And, we’re (sadly) seeing the low % of those who are being extubated :(
The time for the med is at the onset of the symptoms.
The NOLA ER DOC did not give much info for details of his treatment or patient status when treatment started. It sounded like all of his patients were intubated and everyone else was sent home with oxygen. It sounds like early treatment with the anti malarials combined with antibiotics and zinc is key. Starting treatment after intubation sounds like it is only slightly better than starting treatment after the patient is dead.
How about the government order and ship one-each treatment to all US citizens and everyone take it together this week? Country mostly cured and back to work in a week. The only ones sick are illegals, H1B,a d others that can then deport or die.

Yes, and the good citizens of those states need to remove them from their offices by any means necessary.
