Exactly 234 years ago this week, two of Americas founding fathers documented their first exposure to Islamic jihad in a letter to Congress; like many Americans today, they too were shocked at what they learned.
Context: in 1785, Muslim pirates from North Africa, or Barbary, had captured two American ships, the Maria and Dauphin, and enslaved their crews. In an effort to ransom the enslaved Americans and establish peaceful relations, Thomas Jefferson and John Adamsthen ambassadors to France and Britain respectivelymet with Tripolis ambassador to Britain, Abdul Rahman Adja. Following this diplomatic exchange, the Americans laid out the source of Barbarys hitherto inexplicable animosity in a letter to Congress, dated March 28, 1786:
We took the liberty to make some inquiries concerning the grounds of their [Barbarys] pretentions to make war upon nations who had done them no injury, and observed that we considered all mankind as our friends who had done us no wrong, nor had given us any provocation. The ambassador answered us that it was founded on the laws of their Prophet, that it was written in their Koran, that all nations who should not have acknowledged their authority were sinners, that it was their right and duty to make war upon them wherever they could be found, and to make slaves of all they could take as prisoners, and that every Musselman who should be slain in battle was sure to go to Paradise.
Abdul had continued by smugly noting that Islams law offers as an incentive more slaves to those who are first to board infidel vessels, and that the power and appearance of the seaborne jihadiswho reportedly always carried three knives, one in each hand and another in their mouthsso terrified their enemies that very few ever stood against them.

Some shotguns and some M16s would have come in handy back then to give the mussies a ticket to paradise.
From the Halls of Montezuma
To the shores of Tripoli;
Where have I heard those words before...
From the Halls of Montezuma
To the shores of Tripoli;
We fight our country’s battles
In the air, on land, and sea;
First to fight for right and freedom
And to keep our honor clean;
We are proud to claim the title
Of United States Marine.
Slightly familiar.

If you would, give ub the third verse as to what the other services should expect.
Where have I heard those words before...???
That was the start of the term “Leatherneck” also.
All of you JARHEADS...have used and/or heard the term
“IN THE OLD CORPS” etc
ORIGIN:
Young lad drops by Tun Tavern and sees a table set up with a US Marine Corp recruiter.
After listening to the sales pitch, the young lad agrees to become PVT xxxxxx 000 00 01 USMC.
The recruiter hands him two slips of paper and says “Wait at the bar and have a couple of beers on us”.
After a bit another young lad sits down and orders a beer, handing a chit to the bartender and he turns to the first guy and says..”I just joined the USMC with serial #000 00 02 and they gave me a chit for a beer”
“IN THE OLD CORPS WE GOT TWO BEERS FOR JOINING”
Islam is demonic

Ultimately, this either has to be settled by a nuclear attack on Mecca, or a future America with balls to stop calling the Saudis “allies” and having US forces invade and take Mecca by force. Also Islam should be illegal in the USA.
Islam has to be eradicated under an occupation government. Same as denazifying Germany.
Right now OPEC is doing almost as much damage to the Middle East as a nuke would. Gas at the current price is hurting our frackers and traditional producers...but its killing OPEC nations. Russia too.
I think Trump should consider an old idea...a minimum price per barrel for US oil. For instance, a federal tax on US produced oil under $45/bbl to bring it up to that price.
Oops..on all oil, not just US produced. My bad.
The Marines have been kicking jihadi ass since 1785.
Good job Leathernecks. Semper Fi.

There are at least 2 of us who think this.
Russia and the USA each have 6,000-plus nukes. With 50 Muslim-majority countries in the world, we could each use 1,000 of our nukes at an average of 40 nukes per country and still have plenty left. Islam could in one day drop from the #2 religion in the world (behind Christianity) to a mere footnote smaller than Jainism. I’m not recommending this, of course, but we wouldn’t need to take our shoes off to board a plane any more.
Great article, post. HOORAY Raymond Ibrahim. 234 years later, stronger than ever in the long war. More base camps (mosques) than ever in the republic. In The Collectivists Cup down the stretch it’s Marx on the inside Mohammed on the outside. At the wire...it’s Mohammed by a head. Hold all ballots. It’s not official.
The Quranic Concept of War - JOSEPH C. MYERS
The universalism of Islam, in its all-embracing creed, is imposed on the believers as a continuous process of warfare, psychological and political, if not strictly military. . . . The Jihad, accordingly, may be stated as a doctrine of a permanent state of war, not continuous fighting. - Majid Khadduri

Very honest straightforward writer. If you have some spare time...read it.
Music for the thread...

The article neglected to mention the nation’s first military hero as an independent country, Stephen Decatur. It also neglected to mention the buttwhipping Decatur and the fledgling US Marines laid on them in Tripoli. They were taught to leave us alone and made to understand that when we said “or else” we damned well meant it.
