I better pack the vehicle and gas it up. The “shut down” here in NJ is bad enough. A “quarantine” I am not sure I want to live with. I have relatives in Texas. Might go there for awhile. I guess I will need to take the back roads out, if I don’t move before the “quarantine” is announced.

If they really are considering this, it's moronic to telegraph it this way.
Unless there's more going on here than meets the eye. It's possible that Trump is threatening the northeast governors with a federal take-over unless they get their asses in gear fast--stop hoarding ventilators, make chloroquine available for treatment, etc.

IMHO, he should (/s) be:
- Implementing the outright sale of these (and several other) communist-infeccted zones to Cuba, China, or Pakistan;
- Begin deporting those escaping, or have already escaped, into free America; and,
- Start building an 50-foot-high wall around the quarantine zones...
Granted that it would mean some sacrifices... For example, I would have to suffer the loss of about 300 communist in-laws in CT... The difficult part of that would be losing the opportunity to continue trolling the bastards by wearing my Sarah Palin T-shirt and Trump MAGA stuff at annual family events...
