That’s some bovine excrement you’re spouting there.

Nope, it’s more than $6 trillion - $2.2T from the US gov, $4T in printing from the federal reserve through QE, plus whatever lost economic output we get from this, which will be massive.

What exactly are you saying? The flu has already killed 10k people in the US, we are nowhere near that mortality rate with Covid-19, and if you agree that shutting down our country based on mass hysteria, fear & panic is a great idea........you should be mocked at every turn!

Not if we turn back en masse to the One who miraculously delivered our nation from the clutches of tyranny in the first place.

We must again have faith in the Divine Providence of Almighty God if we are to recover and retain our God-given freedoms from government tyranny.

Perhaps I have a more visual sensory reaction to what I read. I more easily lose myself in what I read than many, OTOH I have better recall as well.
The words you chose were gross meant to shock? vs just the way you speak?
Perhaps you are inured to the visual visceral nature of scatological references. I am not. I think that is a more widespread take on suggesting the populous eating excrement than you think. Equating POTUS with excrement is, for me, also a bridge too far. YMMV

CDC, UN, and the Gates Foundation plotted this total economic shutdown less than 12 weeks before putting it into action.

==

I saw that “pandemic exercise’ simulation video.

How could POTUS not possibly have known about this, if you and I (and everyone else who watched it) knew about it??

Trump seems to be trying to find a way to wiggle out of having listened to idiots like the quack Fauci, yet another Obama holdover Trump should have fired.

The scatological references weren’t a criticism of Trump ... they were a criticism of US. :-)

One of the unfortunate limitations of a democratic system of government is that is has no room for a capable, effective leader who really needs to tell a population of hysterical nitwits that they are acting like ... well, hysterical nitwits.

Yep! Forget all about this living free and personal responsibility shit. Give me that bowl of Government Stew! Hell with my birthright!

I wrote it before and I will end with it here: Every tax payer needs to be sent a jar of vas-o-lien or a tube of k-y jelly. Any time you deal with a Democrat, you are going to get screwed. The only thing in question is to what extent.

Slowly we slip into slavery. But the Socialists will make it so pleasant, free money, free sex, free drugs, free housing Until they consolidate their power.

I’m Trump’s biggest fan, but even I recognize politically motivated pandering when I see it.

I first recognized it back in 2016 when he was promising Americans that we’d have “better health care, and it would cost less.” I could only shake my head and laugh at that ... because that was like me promising people they could live in Trump Tower for $800/month.

Your intolerance of an honestly expressed POV that differs from yours is a problem as well. The hostility that has developed between people who are looking at the COVID-19 epidemic from different POV is surely part of the chaos that serves our enemies at home & abroad.
The media does what it does. The Left seeks to fan the problem to better divide Americans and achieve power, control & $. The Left seeks to enslave the American people by whatever means necessary. Reaction to this pressure is necessary but there must be a balance not just “there is no problem this is manufactured.”

And never will. Unless they get caught on the wrong side of a power play among their own.

It’s not killing anything close to 4.67%. We aren’t doing wide testing and we haven’t done antibody studies to see who got it and was completely assymptomatic or extremely mild cases. It’s killing 4.67% of reasonably serious cases. But how many total cases are there? 5, 10, 50, 100x more than we know? The revised study out, plus the new Oxford and Stanford studies suggest somewhere between 25 and 100 for each of the ones we know about, hence the massively reduced death estimations.

Right on! I have had to remove myself from reading freepers comments, I thought OMG!!!! I can’t believe how people have blindly followed & jumped in the mass hysteria, panic & fear line! Unbelievable the stupidity. NEVER has our whole country been brought down knowingly & willingly by Governors with absolutely no lawful authority, to close private businesses & demand “shelter in place” without Martial Law!!!!!! This has been based on a model!!!!!!!

In dramatic fashion UK Imperial College scientist Neil Ferguson published a doomsday scenario on March 16. Now just ten days later, he has reversed his outlook, essentially settling on a prediction no worse than a bad flu season.

Regardless of whether or not Ferguson's models have credibility, that's just a falsehood. He released a second model based on social distancing policies being implemented vs. doing nothing as the first model did. He never "reversed" his previous findings as this article falsely claims. Even a cursory about of research would have revealed that. This article is misinformation.
