My wife unfortunately has always disagreed with that...
I’ve always heard it was...
There is a time and a place for spontaneity..

And I’ve always heard that Elsie was a woman’s name.
I catch your drift... ;^)
The name Elsie is a Scottish Baby Names baby name.
In Scottish Baby Names the meaning of the name Elsie is:
A: meaning 'my god is bountiful', or B: 'god of plenty.'.
Also a diminutive of the Scottish Elspeth. More popular in the late 19th and early 20th centuries than today.
I was just trying too be witty. My memory is pretty bad but I thought I remembered reading long ago that Elsie really stood for L.C. and that the presumption that you were a woman was wrong.
I know my wit isn’t always so good. Maybe not my memory either?
Yeah.
There were a couple of fellas(?) that tried to start something about my CHOSEN screen name a while back.
But; since I’d already been called ugly by a multitude of toads; they failed to penetrate this tough, old skin.
Thanks.
