i have wondered the same thing. looked into it, and discovered that most New York doctors have been quietly using this therapy for a month or so as prophelaxis. One even mentioned it on Fox News Special Report when he was interviewed by Bret this evening ( Friday March 27) but the video is not up yet on the Fox news site. But it will be by Monday:

They likely do not have enough of the drug to begin giving it to patients, and so doctors are prescribing it for their own use and for the use of key front line staff as prophelaxis
If you look at the Dr. Oz video on the #1 thread post, you will see that he has begun a structured trial in New York.
Its only been mentioned as ‘something coming’ because FEMA does not have enough to distribute, though Bayer donated 3 million doses to the federal government. Trump sent 10,000 doses to New York..a pittance.
This drug cannot be produced in numbers because the FDA and CDC is awaiting “scientific” evidence that it should be employed generally, and then the production will ramp up. IMHO Fauci has held this up.
Over at FDA there are many pharmaceutical companies coming to trough like squeeling pigs , wanting there own drug to be employed because it means billions to them ( Remdesivir,by Gilaead etc.), and I would imagine that people like Plutocrat Fauci and others deep staters have skin in that game.
But the real fact is that we NOW have an effective therapy which could save lives now, but the FDA and the CDC under Fauci has acted to let people die when they do not have to. Its actually quite horrible.Science covers his ass. But watch what happens in another 5 days or so, when the good news of whats happening in the test use of Chloroquine gets out and the President gets hold of it to nail Fauci.
I wonder if that truth will ever come out though, how many lives could have been saved..
It is illegal with Dem Governors because it might quickly get us out of this jam, reverse the economic devastation and not damage Trump as much as they’d like, in exchange for lives.

This letter should be spread around. The therapy is being used by most front line doctors in NYC as prophylaxis against getting infected with COVID-19.
Tell your Bishop that the drug Hydroxi-Chloroquine works by making the virus cell wall permeable to Zinc ions, which enter the virus and destroy its internal chemistry.
The dosages of Hyroxi-chloroquin , Zinc supplements, work together.
The antibiotic Azithromycin is dosed to treat secondary bacterial infection in the lungs, and is unnecessary if using Chloroquine for prophylaxis.

I posted this letter on my Facebook Page and was immediately sent a huge number of defamatory screeds from those suffering from TDR.
They won’t abandon their hatred of the President even if it means saving their fellow leftist’s lives.

The man took Chloroquine phosphate orally. It was not Hydroxi-chloroquine.
Although Chloroquine phosphate , what you call aquarium cleaner, is used in France to treat Covid-19, it has to be given to a patient in the correct concentration , diluted with pure water, intravenously.
No one CAN hoard these medication, it has to be prescribed.
But this is all just anecdotal, don’tcha know.
That really does seem to be very important. I am not directing this at you, at all.
There is also a LOT available. Everywhere.
It is VERY irresponsible if anyone, anywhere is for either political, or financial reasons, is in any way limiting the important discussion of this (and other) treatments.
