Maybe this will make more people wake up to how terrible Gm cars have been for the last couple decades.

GM might have wanted this. It gives them some protections that otherwise they might not have had. If I made cars and someone said I had to make medical equipment that, if it doesn’t work right, will cause people to die I’d be scared as hell and want some sort if immunity from lawsuits.

but GREAT advertisement for the Defense Production Act, i.e., any other company thinking about screwing around will have second thoughts ...

Nothing like a little public shaming from POTUS crucifying them for inaction during the pandemic. I love it when he calls them out like that.

I wonder how long it took them to switch to making tanks in WW II.
