UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson tests positive for coronavirus, is experiencing ‘mild symptoms’

The United Kingdom said Friday that Prime Minister Boris Johnson has tested positive for the coronavirus.

Johnson was tested for COVID-19 on Thursday after experiencing “mild symptoms,” a spokesman for No. 10 Downing Street said in a statement.

“The test was carried out in No 10 by NHS staff and the result of the test was positive,” the spokesman said. “In keeping with the guidance, the Prime Minister is self-isolating in Downing Street.”

“I’ve developed mild symptoms of the coronavirus, that is to say a temperature and a persistent cough,” Johnson said in a video posted to the website.

“But be in no doubt that I can continue, thanks to the wizardry of modern technology, to communicate with all my top team, to lead the national fight back against coronavirus,” Johnson said.

He’s probably the one who infected Prince Charles. I wonder if he had contact with the queen recently.

They asked that about Rand Paul here but they worded it "I wonder if he had contact with Romney the Queen recently." Same suspicions.

I think the boy had it about 5 weeks ago symptoms match up pretty close and we put him in the isolation chamber (The den with a huge TV) closed the doors to that room and were very careful about him touching anything - I thought he had the flu and it was only a matter of time before he or his mom got it but we didn't. That isolation and cleaning was key. Both of us work and he gonna be 17 so it wasn't hard to keep our distance. I know he thinks he had it because he has been cleaning the house none stop our house has never been so clean!

We don't know he had it but he had that fever where the room seems hot rather than cold, the cough, couldn't really eat just liquid. I went to the doctor right away because of where I work they have been sending emails about covid-19 very early as we have offices in China in affected areas and affected co-workers. So people were already pretty sensitive - Doctor said I was fine and so far i haven't got sick God willing that stays the same.

It cleared up in about 7-8 days he missed a whole week of school.

I makes sense to me that these things send out a stealth wave and early susceptible victims either A) don't get it or B) they get it an their death or getting very sick is initial attributed to their pre-existing condition
