Oh, they’re all down all right. A good friend of mine’s son runs a condo management operation up there, and had to layoff a hundred people last week. Those numbers aren’t “forecasts,” they’re real.

And to be clear, it’s not the virus that’s causing all the problem. It’s the panic and hysteria that the Fearpers and their buddies in the MSM caused.

Apologies for butting in, but the condos are going to be empty because

1. People don't want to spread the virus - not necessarily get it, but they would contract it and then spread it to others when they went back home (check the kids on spring break)
2. People don't want to transfer that virus to their old, sickly folks (people over 60)

Yes, occupancy levels were going to be hit, no matter what.

There's no need to close down businesses that have limited people contact. But a hotel or tourism - that's going to increase contact. We know that the virus came from Chinese tourists to different places around the world. Now it's spreading within the populations

Go to the front page. Well more than a majority of the stories posted on FR are “hysteria” articles posted by flu bro’s who them comment about how hysterical it is.

If you had read the original posts back in January—and I mean read them—you would have not been hysterical or panicked. You would have been informed and you would have seen this mess coming.

So the question you need to ask yourself is, “ Who is perpetuating this crap?”
