The United States has indicted Venezuela’s socialist dictator Nicolás Maduro and other top regime officials in a narco-terrorism and drug trafficking conspiracy that aimed to “flood the United States with cocaine,” the Justice Department announced.
The criminal indictment accuses Maduro of teaming up with Fuerzas Armadas Revolucionarias de Colombia (FARC) to smuggle cocaine into the United States.

"never mind the law preventing the US from toppling foreign regimes"US law does not recognize Maduro as the head of Venezuela. It recognizes Juan Guaido as the interim president. At Guaido's request, the US can legally enter the country and capture Maduro. This move is brilliant. Maduro will from now forward be unable to trust anyone in his inner circle who might betray him for the reward.
