All we need in two weeks is a treatment for this virus. That seems doable and would allow us to send everyone back to work.
First. Give the virus to the governors who ban the use of chloraquil ; in l Nevada , New York, among them. There is supposed to be a “ right to try” rule in effect

Why do you say New York? Four days ago, Cuomo spoke optimistically about the drug and said they’d begin clinical trials within a week.
Regardless of facts, the media is manufacturing public opinion...to their own ends

Cuomo is banning it for those not in one of his studies
Step 1, they'd have identified the high-risk groups,
Step 2, completed isolating those groups, and
Step 3, called upon the rest of us return to work.
That this 3-Step process has NOT yet happened only causes massive cynicism and distrust of government (even more than already exists).
In an interview with the Times, he cautioned, "What we need is to control the panic." He was almost insouciant about the virus, saying, "We're going to be fine."

Governor Benito Cuomo issued an EO making it illegal for doctors in NYS to prescribe hydroxychloroquine to anybody who is not in an official, Cuomo approved study.
It doesn't matter if you want it, if you doctor wants to prescribe it, if the FDA approves of its off label use, or even if Dr. Fauci himself would prescribe it.
Benito controls the meds, the study and the outcome.
