“Nothing But Communists” is right ... I think that accurate little gag has been floating around since Reagan was president.
Having been in the news biz for 25 years, I can tell you that if there’s anything I hate more than “gotcha” journalism it’s butt-kissy journalism.
Kissing Chicom butt is even more reprehensible than unfair attacks on Trump, if for no other reason than Trump can take it and dish it out, with interest.
But some otherwise conservative folks are likely to be taken in by Chinese propaganda, if for no other reason than Asians tend to be fairly productive and peaceable immigrants.
Not that I want any more after this debacle ... It may be time to bring back the “Yellow Peril,” at least long enough to make sure we’re not letting in Chicom spies.
