Does this include retirees???
Everything I read says yes if you pay income tax. I have income tax taken out of my SS voluntarily and I paid tax on a stock distribution so I file income tax yearly. So, who knows? I don’t see anything so far that says we won’t if we file taxes at the end of the year. I’ll get it if I get it but I won’t cry if I don’t. :-)
Yes, see above for income ranges. They do not want to take the time to see where everyone’s income originates because they want $$$ in people’s hands ASAP.
It includes retirees, however...if you had extra income (way up over $70k a year), then your portion would be cut. Most retirees....I suspect would not fall into that category.
Why should it? Has your income changed, lost your job or put on unpaid leave?
I’ve already exceeded my SS COLA raise of 1.6% by the time I buy 2 months of OTC brand Name Nexium. Tricare took it off the Formulary, and it’s the only 1 I can take. OTC is crap beside a Prescription. Take 80 mg per day + extra for break through. Osteoarthritis drugs ruined my gastro tract. Doesn’t count the Tricare copays.
Went through the Kroger Flyer, no cleaning products on sale. 1 of the fewest items I’ve bought in years 19 items. Nexium was 1 of them.
According to Chuck Grassley Social security retirees will be eligible.
“Does this include retirees???”
I was thinking the same thing. It just says taxpayers.
