“The ban on aid to Trump family businesses was heralded by Schumer in an early-morning letter to colleagues. He said the $500 billion business loan program run by the Treasury Department will have an inspector general for oversight and a ban on money flowing to Trump, whose businesses brought in $461 million in revenue in 2018.”
Continuing-
“GOP coronavirus stimulus bill unveils $1,200 checks for public In a bullet-point list of accomplishments, Schumer wrote that the bill will [p]rohibit businesses controlled by the President, Vice President, Members of Congress, and heads of Executive Departments from receiving loans or investments from Treasury programs.
So the NYPost just HAD to single out the President regarding the ban on aid to businesses??... turns out, all of Congress is included in the ban, too!

“which Schumer said in a floor speech Tuesday means that furloughed workers can essentially get a full paycheck for four months during the crisis.”
Holy smokes, well look for a huge spike in the unemployment number that will last for at least four months. I know many are in dire straights but wow that is a lot of money.

I dont think that congress and POTUS should be treated any different than any other business owner. They have lots of employees who will suffer as a result.

With bill you make more money from being unemployed than working. 4 senators called it out. So Bernie said he will hold up the bill. That should help his campaign.

I don’t think its constitutional for a law to single out one person.

Of the transit dollars, $4.35 billion is earmarked for New York state, of which $3.8 billion is earmarked for New Yorks Metropolitan Transportation Authority
How could they possible need that much money? What BS.

"I see $350,000,000 is earmarked for illegals defense fund." I'll just smile and assume you are having some trolling fun...
If it were true, Donald Trump would be all over it with a veto... Or, 2020 will be the first time since Eisenhower that I would have considered not voting in an election for President...
