Nancy Pelosi has (thrown in the towel) on her attempt to misuse the Wuhan virus epidemic to sneak partisan legislation that has never been able to make it through Congress into law.
House Speaker Nancy Pelosi said Tuesday that she will attempt to pass the Senates coronavirus economic stimulus package putting aside the alternative, projected $2.5 trillion measure that she proposed.
The California Democrat said shell try to pass the Senates projected $1.8 trillion measure by unanimous consent, meaning House members can say yes without having to come to Capitol Hill to vote.
One can only imagine how bad the Democrats polling must have been to cause such a hasty retreat. The Democrats had no one behind them except their most extremist supporters, like the New York Times.

State GOP chairman Lawrence Tabas said the elections show the strength of the Republican Party in Pennsylvania
(Harrisburg) Republicans are claiming victory and Democrats conceding defeat in three special elections Tuesday to fill empty seats in the Pennsylvania House of Representatives.
All three seats had been held by Republicans who vacated them after winning elections to county offices last November, and Tuesdays election maintains the 110-93 Republican majority in the state House.
Eric Davanzo won in a Republican-leaning district in Westmoreland County and Tim Bonner won in a Republican-leaning district based in Mercer County, while K.C. Tomlinson won in a district in politically divided Bucks County.
Democrats had criticized the decision by House Speaker Mike Turzai, R-Allegheny, to hold the special elections apart from the April 28 primary, and then they criticized his decision not to postpone the special elections after Gov. Tom Wolf ordered a shutdown of non-essential government services to help stop the spread of the coronavirus.
House Democratic Leader Frank Dermody, D-Allegheny, called the elections a disgraceful power grab by Republicans and Turzai, and said the results dont reflect fair elections.

She has no leverage. We’ll survive even if it doesn’t get passed. Either way, they lose.
Its all about denying the president a victory of any kind. The fear Democrats have of Trump exposing their criminal activities in his second term is real.
I could imagine the pollster explaining the results:
Simply put, you keep it up and on the bright side, you're in no danger of dying from Covid-19. The downside is you'll most certainly die from lead poisoning, rope burns around the neck, being set on fire, an "extremely close shave"....its a pretty long list.
Its all about denying the president a victory of any kind”
I would add If she can’t use suffering Americans to ram through her rat wish list then she doesn’t want it passed.
p
She’s doing it AGAIN today.
Yup, just like CCP make a deal, break a deal. Nancy back playing game of chicken with the American people.
Nancy’s too old to give a blank.
Americans will never forget where they were the day(s) their hopes for personal financial relief and saving the economy were dashed (three or more times) by Sen. Schumer and Nancy Pelosi in a cheap-ass series of ploys.
Retreat all they want, they own this now. Pelosi probably lost the House with this stunt.
But what am I saying! This is the GOP. Im sure by November they will have failed to use this power grab by Pelosi to have nationalized the Congressional elections.
Democrats are the real enemy

Darn tootin they are !
