Oh noes! Run in fear! Lock down everything! Close churches (heh, heh, not abortion clinics)!!!! Eleventy11!!!!
This could be a problem in California where the growth of the homeless population has led to an expansion of the rat population. The California tree rat is the same species that carried the bubonic plague in Europe during the Middle Ages.
If they are not regularly pruned, the fronds of Washington and Mexican fan palms, found all over Southern California, will die but remain hanging from the trunk and accumulate in layers. Rats love to inhabit these, as they did the thatched roofs of medieval European houses.
The fatality rate is 37%. It will spread exponentially. The hospitals will be overloaded. We only have a few weeks to stop it. Everyone can be saved if we shit down everything for a few months and allow the government to run our lives.
We do not know how this disease will progress so we need to enforce the precautionary principle because even if it saves one life it will be worth it.
Your inadvertent misspelling was hilarious.
Oh no... still waiting for the end of the world and the concurrent arrival of zombies.
The dangers of using your cell phone to post while your are on conference call. Thanks for laughing!
