The White House and Senate leaders reached a breakthrough deal shortly after midnight Wednesday on a massive $2 trillion coronavirus relief package, Fox News has confirmed, capping off days of heated negotiations that had nearly been derailed by last-minute demands from House Democrats.

“Ladies and gentleman, we are done," White House legislative affairs director Eric Ueland announced as he left the office of Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell, R-Ky., near midnight. "We have a deal."

STIMULUS BULL??????

We’re back in the decrepit Obama days.

Trump’s falling for the phony B.S. that government spending “stimulates the economy”???????

It’s just the opposite. TAX CUTS AND MASSIVE CUTS in government will make the economy blast off like a rocket ship.

No wonder the Left is silent about this idiotic “stimulus” bull. More government and the Left ALWAYS wants more government.

But it’s LESS government that brings us, MORE prospeosterty.

Are you kidding? Trump is managing to make Obama look like a cheapskate.

From page 36:

‘‘(d) LIMITATION BASED ON ADJUSTED GROSS IN20 COME.—The amount of the credit allowed by subsection 21 (a) (determined without regard to this subsection and sub22 section (f)) shall be reduced (but not below zero) by 5 per23 cent of so much of the taxpayer’s adjusted gross income 24 as exceeds $75,000 ($150,000 in the case of a joint re25 turn).

So does this mean if I earned $90K I'd still get $$ minus 5% for the $15K I made over the $75K?

Regardless, these are always Frankenstein bills, with all sorts of pre-written stuff sewn on. Waste, fraud & abuse will carry on.

thanks. that looks like the original bill - 3/19/2020 date.
I don’t see where they voted on the bill, yet.
Probably not a good idea to vote on a bill that isn’t yet in writing and in their hands.

Trump needs line item veto power.

Cross out all of the Marxist/Commie/Leftist BS and then sign it.

No, the senate apparently started with the “shell” of the house one I posted...but “modded” it...so ignore that one, sorry. I have yet to find the “final, final version” text yet.

A previous Supreme Court ruled it unconstitutional when Bill Clinton tried to use it.

Didn’t Trump vow to never sign a bill like this again?

I believe he did.

turns out the senate was voting on this: H.R. 748 (according to MarketWatch and WSJ)- I don’t see it on either the House or Senate websites.

H.R. 748 is on the House web site, but it is for something else.

https://www.congress.gov/bill/116th-congress/house-bill/748/text?q={”search”%3A[”h.r.+748”]}&r=1&s=1

I am so confused.
